TrueGether reviews: What I learned from listing (2026)

TrueGether has no listing fees and no commission, which sounds like an easy win, right? But zero fees don't help much if buyers never see your listings.

This TrueGether review covers my experience listing vintage hoodies on the platform. I also researched seller and buyer reviews on Reddit, Facebook, the Better Business Bureau, and Trustpilot to check whether my results were typical.

Below, I cover TrueGether's fees, what listing and shipping involve, and what other users report. By the end, you'll know whether TrueGether is worth it for you.

My quick verdict: Is TrueGether worth it?

No, TrueGether isn’t worth it for most sellers. I listed vintage hoodies on TrueGether, but most didn’t sell. The same items usually sell quickly on eBay and sites like Poshmark.

What is TrueGether?

TrueGether is an online marketplace where you can list products across categories such as clothing, electronics, and home goods.

Standard listings have no fees, but an optional Premium Plan adds advertising and tools that can automate some tasks. You can also upload many products at once or move listings from other selling platforms.

TrueGether fees for sellers

TrueGether charges sellers nothing to list or sell on its free plan. The free plan stands out because TrueGether takes no commission. The platform doesn’t charge a separate payment-processing fee, but third-party payment providers may charge their own transaction fees. The amount depends on the payment provider and seller account.

The platform’s Premium Plan is $19 per month. Sellers can set the transaction fee as low as 2%. You can increase that percentage, giving TrueGether more budget to advertise your products through Google Ads.

Premium can be worth the cost if its ads bring you enough extra sales. However, I recommend you try the free plan first before committing any money. If you fail to sell anything, skip the platform altogether.

What is selling on TrueGether like?

When you sell on TrueGether, you can import your listings from eBay or upload them via a CSV file. The platform also has a few more features that simplify listing. Here’s what I found when I listed hoodies on TrueGether:

TrueGether seller dashboard showing profile details, listing tabs, item creation options, marketplace integrations, payment settings, inventory counts, and multichannel ecommerce automation tools.

Bulk inventory importing

Bulk inventory importing lets you move many existing listings to TrueGether at once. Sellers can import and sync products from platforms such as eBay, Shopify, Google Shopping, and Amazon. You can also upload larger product lists using CSV or Excel files.

TrueGether's API lets connected multichannel tools push stock updates. But you should still check your inventory to prevent selling an item that is no longer available.

Ads features

TrueGether’s Premium plan promotes some listings through channels such as Google Shopping Ads. Premium starts at $19 per month. You can set the fee per sale as low as 2%.

A higher fee may give your products more advertising, but you keep less from each sale. For example, a $40 hoodie with a 10% fee leaves you $36 before any transaction fees. Choose a percentage that still leaves enough profit on each sale.

Payments and order management

Buyers pay sellers directly through PayPal or Stripe. You should confirm that you’ve received payment before shipping an order.

You’ll also handle shipping and returns. If you have a payment dispute, Stripe or PayPal handles it. TrueGether’s standard return period is 15 days after delivery unless the seller sets a different policy.

Shipping

As a seller, you’ll handle shipping on TrueGether, and the platform supports ShipStation. Tracking is optional, but TrueGether recommends adding it when available.

When you add tracking to an order, TrueGether sends the details to the buyer.

You set your own handling time and return policy, which buyers can find on your public profile. TrueGether sets no shipping time requirement, but the platform says sellers typically ship within 1 to 3 days of the transaction date.

Add tracking as soon as you have it. Buyers can file a complaint 14 days after placing an order. Missing tracking alone doesn't allow them to file a complaint earlier.

International coverage

TrueGether can show your listings in other countries where you offer shipping. However, the platform doesn’t publish a complete list of countries where listings can appear.

Prices appear in each country’s local currency. For example, shipping to Canada can make a $40 hoodie available to Canadian buyers in Canadian dollars. This doesn't guarantee sales from Canada. Remove any countries where you do not want to sell.

What do TrueGether reviews say?

I scoured the internet and checked sites like Reddit, the Better Business Bureau, YouTube, and Trustpilot to see what other users had to say about TrueGether:

TrueGether pros

  • Past success: One seller noted success on TrueGether with synced listings and Google visibility. (May 14th, 2026)
  • Easy-to-find items: A buyer praised TrueGether’s search filters, which helped them find the items they were looking for. (July 6th, 2026)
  • Simple selling with responsive customer support: A seller found the listing process smooth and the marketplace consistently easy to navigate. Support responded quickly when they had a subscription issue. (June 25th, 2026)

TrueGether cons

  • Unauthorized seller listings harmed brand control: A business reported that a TrueGether seller had sold its products without authorization, misleading customers while diverting legitimate traffic and sales. (March 23rd, 2026)
  • Payment was taken without order confirmation: A buyer paid for two baseball jerseys but received no confirmation. They were still waiting for the jerseys, leaving the purchase status unclear and difficult to track. (April 30th, 2026)
  • Limited marketplace traffic: A YouTube review noted that TrueGether has relatively little organic marketplace traffic compared with eBay. (August 31st, 2026)

TrueGether alternatives

If you’re not a fan of TrueGether, don’t worry. Several quality alternatives are available. Here’s a look at 5:

Marketplace Best for selling Pros Cons Marketplace fees
eBay Electronics, collectibles, parts, general merchandise Huge audience; strong seller research tools Fees vary considerably across product categories 13.6–15.3%, + $0.30 or $0.40 per order
Poshmark Clothing, shoes, accessories, home goods Simple shipping; fashion-focused buyer community 20% commission reduces higher-value margins $2.95 under $15; otherwise 20%
Depop Vintage clothing, streetwear, trend-led fashion No U.S. seller fee; younger audience Processing fees apply; boosting costs extra 3.3% + $0.45 payment processing
Mercari Electronics, collectibles, clothing, household goods Free listings; straightforward flat selling fee Buyer fee increases total checkout cost 10% seller fee on completed sales
Facebook Marketplace Furniture, appliances, vehicles, local goods Strong local reach; local sales are free No-shows common; protections can be limited 0% local; 10% shipped ($0.80 minimum)

If you’re already on eBay, Mercari is another option for sellers moving electronics, collectibles, clothing, and household goods. But if Mercari’s 10% selling fee or buyer fees are a concern, compare these Mercari alternatives before choosing where to list.

My final verdict: How to tell if TrueGether is worth it for you

I wouldn’t recommend you start selling on TrueGether. But if you have an eBay or Shopify account, it might be worth listing on the platform for more exposure. Here’s how to tell if it’s for you or not:

TrueGether may be worth trying if you …

  • Already have inventory listed elsewhere: If you already have an Amazon, eBay, Shopify, or Google Shopping store, you can list your existing inventory on TrueGether.
  • Want a low-fee side channel: The free option has no listing fees or marketplace commission, making TrueGether easier to test alongside your main selling platform.

Look elsewhere if you …

  • Need a larger built-in audience: Larger marketplaces may bring more shoppers directly to your listings. TrueGether relies partly on buyers finding products elsewhere. Plus, from user reviews, buyers seem to be moving away from the platform because they’ve found it sells fakes and is rife with scammers.
  • Want marketplace-managed protection: Some transaction protection comes from the payment provider. Sellers seeking marketplace-handled protection may prefer another platform.
  • Have limited selling time: Managing another sales channel takes time. I have yet to find a crosslisting tool that automatically removes sold listings from TrueGether when one sells on a connected platform. This means you’ll need to take time to manually remove these items.
  • Sell trust-sensitive branded goods: Buyer trust can affect sales of branded goods such as sports jerseys. Questionable listings may make shoppers wary of genuine products.

Use Nifty for more profitable reselling

My TrueGether review concludes that low fees don't matter much when buyers are scarce. Selling on marketplaces such as eBay, Poshmark, and Depop helps you reach more buyers, so you can increase profits. If you’re selling on multiple marketplaces, try Nifty. It’s a crosslisting and automation tool that lets you list and manage your items across several marketplaces from one place.

Here's why Nifty's so helpful:

  • Customized AI listings: Upload photos and let Nifty generate search-optimized titles, descriptions, and item details. Review the draft, then use custom instructions to shape its writing style.
  • Crosslist now: List eligible items across eBay, Etsy, Poshmark, Whatnot, Mercari, and Depop (more marketplaces coming soon) from one dashboard, with no re-entering details on each marketplace. Marketplace access and features depend on your connected accounts and plan.
  • Bulk crosslisting: Select multiple existing listings in Nifty, choose your target marketplaces, pricing, and shipping, then save the AI-generated results as drafts or publish them.
  • Marketplace-specific Pricing Rules: Set your price once on a primary marketplace, and Nifty auto-calculates the rest with percentage or dollar adjustments so your take-home stays consistent when you crosslist.
  • Built-in auto-delisting: Enable auto-delisting and Nifty can remove an eligible sold item from your other connected marketplaces, which reduces the risk of selling the same item twice.
  • Bulk tools = less busywork: Relist selected items in batches, schedule ready-to-publish drafts, and use supported automations to handle recurring selling tasks.
  • Analytics and profits, clarified: Track sales, fees, profit, and your top-selling brands and categories. You can also set seller goals and check your progress from Nifty's home screen.

Nifty pays for itself in just a few weeks. Start with a 7-day free trial and see how Nifty can help you move inventory that would sit unseen on a low-traffic marketplace onto the platforms where buyers are already shopping.

FAQs

1. Is TrueGether real or fake?

TrueGether is a real online marketplace where independent sellers list products for buyers. However, being a legitimate marketplace doesn't guarantee that every seller or product is trustworthy. Check seller information, product details, and available buyer protections before purchasing.

2. What are the most common TrueGether complaints?

The most common TrueGether complaints are about slow customer support, subscription charges, unauthorized seller listings, orders, delivery, or refunds. Users also report difficulties resolving issues with marketplace sellers.

3. Are NFL jerseys sold on TrueGether real?

Yes, some NFL jerseys sold on TrueGether are real, but others are fake. Don't assume a jersey is authentic simply because it is listed on TrueGether. Online discussions include buyers purchasing inexpensive replica jerseys, so check the individual seller, listing details, and authenticity claims before buying.
